Conversion to RoHS and WEEE EU Directives due to the passing of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act or ElektroG.
The ElektroG or Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act was passed by the German Bundestag on 20.01.2005 with the approval of the German Bundesrat on 18.02.2005. The 2002/96/EG(WEEE) and 2002/95/EG (RoHS) Directives restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
