Note on the Scope of Application of the BMU for the ElektroG:
Given the wide range of electrical and electronic products, questions often arise about which devices fall under the scope of the ElektroG, despite the definitions of electrical and electronic equipment provided in the law. The "Notes on the Scope of Application" are intended by the BMU to provide guidance in answering these questions. The notes are not legally binding.
