Wire-in-Air SMD Fuse USE 2410 from Schurter
Reliable Circuit Protection for Mobile, Industrial and Medical Applications

Electromechanics I 02.07.2026
We are expanding our product portfolio from the Swiss technology company Schurter with the compact and high-performance USE 2410 Surface-Mount Fuse, available in 15 variants. This fast-acting fuse is particularly suitable for mobile applications requiring high vibration resistance. Typical applications also include battery-powered devices, LED drivers, medical and industrial equipment, power supplies, and household appliances.
The USE 2410 is based on Schurter's innovative Wire-in-Air fusible wire technology. This enables an interrupting rating of up to 200 A within the compact 2410 footprint. Depending on the version, the rated current ranges from 0.63 A to 10 A, while the rated voltage is 125 to 250 V AC and 86 to 125 V DC. Its precise tripping characteristics ensure reliable circuit protection: the fuse opens within 5 seconds at twice the rated current and within 10 ms at ten times the rated current. With an operating temperature range of −55 °C to +125 °C, the fuse is designed for use in demanding environments.
The housing, made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (UL 94V-0) with gold-plated copper terminals, ensures long-term durability. The fuse is lead-free, contains no internal solder joints, and is sealed against potting compounds. Designed for reflow soldering, it has been tested for vibration, shock and temperature cycling in accordance with MIL-STD-202 and qualified to AEC-Q200. The USE 2410 is certified to UL, VDE, CE and UKCA standards and is compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements. It is available in packs of 2,800 pieces, with a minimum order quantity of 5,600 pieces.
