We are adding Schurter's high-quality TA36 series device circuit breakers to our product range. They combine the function of a device switch with thermal overcurrent protection in a compact design. The 2-pole circuit breakers with thermal-magnetic tripping for short circuits feature rocker actuation – the rocker is available in white or black and is unlit. In addition to the thermal bimetal principle, the magnetic module provides reliable protection against very high overcurrents. The switches are mounted using a snap-on fastening. With positive free release, they switch off safely as soon as a trip condition is reached, regardless of the operating position. This type of operation corresponds to the S-type classification according to IEC. The switches are available for a wide range of rated currents (0.05–20 A; magnetic up to 16 A) and a rated voltage range of 240 VAC (IEC). The front panel complies with protection class IP40 according to IEC 60529, ensuring reliable protection against the ingress of foreign objects. Their shock resistance is 30 G / 18 ms according to IEC 60068-2-27, Test Ea. With a mechanical and electrical service life of 50,000 switching cycles, these components offer a long-lasting solution. Additional features include VDE and UL approvals, and they are designed for ambient temperatures from -30°C to +60°C.

The TA36 device circuit breakers are particularly suitable for use in power tools, medical and laboratory equipment, industrial applications, construction machinery, cleaning equipment, commercial and household kitchen appliances, industrial power supplies, and industrial lighting systems.
