We are expanding our range with high-quality fiber optic patch cables from Digitus. The range includes both simplex and duplex cables in various lengths from 1 to 20 m. They have a cable diameter of 2 to 3 mm and are available in different designs. The single-mode fibers comply with the international standard ISO/IEC 11801 and are offered in class OS2. The multimode fibers are available in classes OM3, OM4, and OM5. Digitus offers a wide selection of connectors such as LC, SC, ST, MPO, and E2000, as well as various polishing styles to cover the most common areas of application. The outer jacket colors of the cables comply with the American standard EIA/TIA598, which ensures standardized color coding of fiber optic cables and contains identification schemes for fiber units to enable easy identification within installations. This makes the fiber optic patch cables an ideal solution for networks. Depending on the design, they are suitable for different operating temperatures. They are now available from stock and can be purchased in various quantities.
Optical fibers are an essential part of modern networks and are used to connect network components and end devices. They have also become established in the cabling of patch panels and in bridging shorter distances within buildings. With their high bandwidth, insensitivity to interference signals, and low space requirements, fiber optic cables offer a reliable and customized solution for data transmission.
