All-in-one Solution for AC/DC Charging, DC/AC Conversion and AC Bypass: MEAN WELL 5000W Sine Wave Inverter NTN-5K 

We are expanding our MEAN-WELL range with the NTN-5K converters, which combine AC/DC charging, DC/AC conversion and AC bypass in an all-in-one solution. They are also suitable for external solar modules and MPPT chargers. Their true sine wave (THD <3%) enables the operation of AC consumers on DC voltage sources and protects devices from voltage-related damage. They integrate a powerful 4520W AC/DC charger with fast charging function, a digital design with MCU control and an optimized control loop that responds quickly to changes in environmental conditions and increases reliability. NTN-5K inverters are modular in design and consist of a single 5kW module that allows flexible parallel connection of AC outputs up to 30kW (1+5 units) and thus extremely flexible power expansion. The chassis is designed as a 2U housing for easy installation and quick mounting in a standard 19-inch rack. Three single-phase NTN-5K units can be combined to form a 3-phase, 4-wire AC output.

The MEAN WELL NTN-5K series devices offer a comprehensive control and monitoring platform via the CMU2E, CM2E-R controller. Other features include instantaneous peak power up to 10kW, AC_Bypass UPS function without interruption (<10ms), integrated CAN bus or MOD bus communication interface, DIP switch adjustable output voltage / frequency / energy saving mode, remote on/off, full protection devices, operating temperature range between -30°C and +70°C and PCB coating. The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years.
