New NSP Series Power Supplies from MEAN WELL

The compact and powerful NSP series power supplies from MEAN WELL are now available from Schukat. Like the proven predecessor models of the RSP series, the new generation is also available in versions from 75 to 320 W. The NSP series is used in particular in industrial control systems, communication equipment, and security and fire protection applications.
Compared to the RSP series, the new NSP series offers a significantly improved price-performance ratio. In addition to reduced dimensions, the power supplies feature an extended operating temperature range from –40°C to +85°C, with full load operation possible up to +60°C. They are suitable for operation at altitudes up to 5,000 m. Depending on the model, they are available without a fan (NSP-75 to NSP-200) or with an integrated low-noise fan (NSP-320). Equipped with adjustable output voltage, the power supplies allow flexible configuration. With an extremely low leakage current of less than 350 µA and 2xMOPP insulation, they meet the requirements of the medical standard IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI 60601 and are therefore also suitable for medical applications. With a wide input voltage range from 85 to 305 VAC, high efficiency of 90 to 94.5%, low no-load power consumption of 0.3 to 0.5 W, and a peak output power capability of 200%, these high-performance power supplies are designed for demanding applications. Global safety certifications for the NSP series include CB, DEKRA, UL, RCM, BSMI, CCC, EAC, BIS, KC, CE, and UKCA.
The series also complies with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, 61010-1, IEC/EN 61558-1, 60335-1, 62477-1, and SEMI 47 standards for semiconductor equipment and meets the requirements of overvoltage category OVC III. Comprehensive protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, and overtemperature, along with a conformal coating on the PCB, ensures increased reliability and durability. The compact NSP series is now available from stock. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty.
