New AC/DC LED Power Supplies from MEAN WELL – XLC-KN and XLC-MA Series

We now offer AC/DC LED power supplies from MEAN WELL`s XLC-KN and XLC-MA series, which can be directly integrated into wired KNX systems and wireless Matter systems. They are used in LED lighting systems such as downlights, panel lights, and ceiling spotlights in both industrial and decorative lighting applications.

The series is available in power ratings of 25 W, 40 W, and 60 W. The LED drivers operate with an input voltage range of 100 to 305 VAC and offer adjustable output currents between 300 mA and 1050 mA (25 W), 600 mA and 1400 mA (40 W), and 900 mA and 1700 mA (60 W). Current settings can be selected via DIP switch (MA series) or programmed via ETS software (KN series). Thanks to their high efficiency of up to 88% (25 W, 40 W) and 90% (60 W), the power supplies can be operated in an ambient temperature range from -25°C to 50°C with free air convection.

The KN series is equipped with a KNX interface featuring a data security function (“KNX Secure”). It integrates seamlessly into KNX systems and enables precise digital lighting control. The MA series has been developed according to the latest safety standards and features wireless Matter communication. It complies with the Matter 1.3 standard and has been certified by the CSA Alliance.

The LED drivers are supplied in Class II plastic housings with PFC design. They support flicker-free operation and meet CE and ErP directives, the latest LED safety standards, as well as the requirements for emergency lighting applications. Standby power consumption is less than 0.5 W, and dimming down to 0.5% of the maximum brightness is possible. The series comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
