POP - General Information

Declaration of Conformity in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 (POP)

The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) aims to protect human health and the environment through specific control measures by eliminating persistent organic pollutants. To this end, the regulation prohibits or restricts the production, use, import, and export of POPs.
At the European level, Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation) implements the international agreement into European law.

POP – Statement

Schukat electronic Vertriebs GmbH (Schukat) actively monitors the requirements of the POP Regulation and has identified its responsibilities and obligations to the best of its knowledge and belief. We fully support the objective of the POP Regulation to enhance the protection of human health and the environment.

Schukat does not sell any of these POP substances as raw materials or in mixtures.
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has included certain POP substances in the REACH Regulation.
