Since 1990, we have been working closely with battery manufacturer GS Yuasa Battery Germany. GS Yuasa offers a broad range of power supply products for the motorcycle, automotive, and industrial markets, with a clear focus on industrial batteries for standby and cyclic applications. “One of our core areas is VRLA batteries (valve-regulated lead-acid batteries), which have been used in emergency power systems for decades,” explains Sascha Malsbender, Sales Manager at GS Yuasa Battery Germany.
These batteries are also the main focus of the GS Yuasa products we distribute – first and foremost the popular NP series, specially developed for safety-related applications such as fire alarm and security systems. The series is VdS-certified, available in various capacities, and extremely durable. With GS Yuasa’s high-quality VRLA portfolio, we offer our customers reliable and long-lasting solutions – complemented by additional benefits such as expert consulting, training, and optimized delivery concepts.
With our GS Yuasa range, we are ideally positioned: “We have seven battery series from GS Yuasa in our portfolio, along with the matching charging systems. Starter batteries may not yet be part of our core business, but as we continue to develop together, they could become a stronger focus in the future. This is also emphasized by Raphael Eckert, Managing Director at GS Yuasa Battery Germany: “The future of the collaboration between Schukat and GS Yuasa lies, in my view, in the field of safety technology and UPS applications,” says Raphael Eckert, Managing Director at GS Yuasa Battery Germany.

GS Yuasa benefits above all from our reach as a distributor – as Raphael Eckert emphasizes: “Schukat gives us access to a very large target audience – nationwide and even internationally – around the clock. This is particularly valuable because GS Yuasa doesn’t need to build its own online shop and can therefore open up new markets quickly and efficiently.”
In addition, sales through us create significant revenue potential, as new products can be listed and promoted immediately, allowing sales volumes to scale flexibly. Being present on our well-established platform also strengthens brand awareness and opens up opportunities through customer reviews and cross-selling. On the logistics side, we handle everything – from warehousing, shipping, and returns management to the safe transport of hazardous goods.
