New NSP-2400 Industrial Power Supplies from MEAN WELL

We are adding the NSP-2400 series enclosed switching power supplies from MEAN WELL to our product portfolio. With an output power of 2,400 W, the series expands the NSP portfolio with a powerful and reliable solution for industrial automation and control systems, security and telecommunications equipment, network and PoE applications, mechanical and electrical systems, smart home systems, and medical devices. The compact models (325.8 × 107 × 41 mm) are available with output voltages ranging from 12 V to 60 V.

The power suppliesf eature PFC functionality, a particularly wide input voltage range of 85 to 305 VAC, high efficiency of up to 93%, and peak output power of up to 200% for a maximum of 5 seconds. For applications requiring higher power, up to four units can be operated in parallel, providing a total output power of up to 9,600 W. A CAN bus interface is integrated as standard, while a Modbus version is available on request.

Additional features include remote control, a DC-OK signal, 5 V and 12 V auxiliary outputs, as well as adjustable output current from 0 to 100% and adjustable output voltage from 0 to 120%. Intelligent fan control limits the noise level to a maximum of 45 dB. The power supplies operate over a wide temperature range from −40 °C to +85 °C, with full-load operation possible up to +60 °C.

With a leakage current of less than 500 µA and 2 × MOPP, the NSP-2400 power supplies are suitable for BF-type medical applications. They also comply with global safety certifications including CB, DEKRA, UL, RCM, CQC, BSMI, and EAC, and are certified to standards including 62368-1, 60601-1, 61558-1, 60335-1, 62477-1, and 61010-1. Comprehensive protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, and overtemperature, together with a conformal coating on the PCB, ensures high reliability and durability. The power supplies are designed for operating altitudes of up to 5,000 m. MEAN WELL provides a five-year warranty for the NSP-2400 series.
