Super-fast USFF 1206 SMD fuses from Schurter
Expansion of our portfolio with the USFF 1206 SMD fuse series from Schurter

Electromechanics I 10.03.2026
The super-fast USFF 1206 SMD fuses from the Swiss technology company Schurter are now available from us. They are ideally suited for overcurrent protection in smart meters, batteries, sensors, mobile devices, and semiconductors.
The fast-acting SMD fuses complement the existing USF 1206 series with lower rated currents. They are designed for a rated voltage of 125 V AC and 63 V DC, covering a rated current range from 0.05 to 0.25 A. The devices operate within a temperature range from −55 °C to +90 °C and offer a breaking capacity of up to 100 A.
The USFF 1206 fuses are designed for direct PCB mounting and provide a space-saving solution. Their compact housing measures only 3.2 mm × 1.6 mm × 1.75 mm and weighs just 0.0133 g. The fuses are made of fiber-reinforced, flame-retardant plastic (UL 94V-0) and are sealed against potting compounds. Their terminals are made of gold-plated copper alloy and are suitable for reflow soldering. Solderability has been successfully tested according to IEC 60068-2-58 (Test Td) at 245 °C for 3 seconds. The low-resistance components are also resistant to thermal shock from −40 °C to +125 °C (5 cycles, IEC 60068-2-14, CECC 4200) and feature an insulation resistance of over 100 MΩ between terminals and body (EIA/IS-722, Test 4.7). The fuses are certified with CE, IEC, UKCA, and cULus approvals and comply with climatic category IEC 55/90/21.
