Schurter's EKO Series of rugged, high-performance HV fuses
Reliable protection for high-voltage applications

Electromechanics I 01.06.2026
With the EKO series, we are adding high-performance HV fuses from Schurter to our product portfolio. These components are characterized by high performance, safety, and reliability, and are used in charging infrastructure, energy storage systems (BESS), manual service disconnect switches, power conversion equipment (UPS, inverters, drives), and heavy-duty industrial systems.
Designed for use in demanding high-voltage environments, the EKO series provides reliable protection at voltages up to 1,000 V DC. Certain models are even rated for up to 1,250 V AC. The rated current range is 50 to 1,100 A, while the maximum breaking capacity is 50 kA DC. Furthermore, the EKO series is designed for maximum durability: it withstands mechanical stresses such as vibrations and shocks, is resistant to chemical influences, and operates reliably in a temperature range from -40 °C to +125 °C. The compact, square ceramic housing and the tin-plated copper terminals ensure durability and stable electrical performance even under adverse operating conditions. For easy integration into various systems, mounting options such as Flush End, DIN rail, US-style bolted tag, or bolt-on are available. Additionally, optionally available display elements and microswitches enable convenient monitoring.
Depending on the application, there are five variants to choose from:
• EKO11: 160–400 A | 1000 VDC / 1250 VAC | Flush End / DIN-Rail
• EKO12: 125–630 A | 1000 VDC | Flush End / US Style Bolted Tag
• EKO13: 250–800 A | 1000 VDC / 1250 VAC | Flush End / DIN-Rail
• EKO14: 315–1100 A | 1000 VDC / 1250 VAC | Flush End / DIN-Rail
• EKO81: 50–400 A | 500 VDC | Bolt-on
The fuses comply with IEC, UL, and GB/T standards and meet CE, RoHS, and REACH requirements.
