China RoHS
China RoHS - General Information
China RoHS is a Chinese regulation that does not impose any legal obligations on Schukat electronic Vertriebs GmbH as a German company.
For the European regulation, EU Directive 2011/65/EU applies:
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) – EU Directive 2011/65/EU – serves to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It regulates the use and placing on the market of hazardous substances in electrical devices and electronic components.
China RoHS – Statement
There are many parallels between EU RoHS and China RoHS. Products that are transferred from the European to the Chinese market must be provided with the appropriate markings and declarations, or, for products listed in the Management Catalog, undergo conformity assessments according to Chinese standards.
For products imported from the Chinese into the European market, in addition to markings and declarations, the differing substance restrictions, scopes of applicability, exemptions, and requirements for technical documentation must also be taken into account.
Furthermore, Schukat is not a manufacturer of electronic components and is therefore not in a position to provide precise information about the full material content of the products it distributes.
Only the manufacturers of electronic components and products can provide the data necessary for detailed information on substances subject to global and national restrictions.
