Product description
  • The RACPRO1-4SP series are 4-channel load switches with electronic fuse (e-Fuse) that feature independent overcurrent limit control and real-time output current indication. Each channel is separately protected so that overload or fault conditions on a single load will not affect the reliability or function of the entire system. The useful LED indicators show the output current and change from green to yellow (current within limit) to orange (current at limit) to red (overcurrent or short circuit). A voltage-free DC-OK output can be used to monitor the system function. Each channel can also be switched on or off to facilitate fault diagnosis or maintenance. The RECOM RACPRO1-4SP/24V/10A e-fuses are available with 10A maximum channel current and 150% power gain for 5s, but can handle 150% overload for up to 120ms to prevent false tripping. The channels switch on in sequence to reduce the inrush current with a pre-settable delay time. If the system is overloaded, the channels switch off the loads in reverse order so that important functions continue to run until the end. The output overload hiccup or trip mode can be set via a switch. The e-fuses have a long life expectancy (>80,000h/40°C) and simple wiring with tool-free push-in and lever terminals. The input and output terminals are also paired to allow easy daisy chaining.
