  • The Camtec HSEUiREG models are high-precision laboratory power supplies "Made in Germany." The power supplies designed for this thesis are intended for power supply systems in test automation. Camtec Power Supplies has been manufacturing high-quality switching power supplies in Germany for over 25 years. A field failure rate of less than 0.004% over a 10-year period confirms our demanding quality concept. Every Camtec product undergoes multiple 100% tests for every detailed function and a burn-in test under full load. Although not required by safety standards, our production department subjects every device manufactured to a routine safety test, even if it is a low-voltage model. The components in the assembled device are assigned a voltage change to achieve a consistent level and prevent future failures. Our internal product development guidelines set a clear goal: The reputation of Camtec products must be "fit and forget." For our team, quality is not a mere promise. The HSEUiREG laboratory power supplies are characterized by low noise and low residual ripple, very fast programming, and precise adjustment under high load changes. With an efficiency of up to 90%, the devices are extremely energy-efficient. Equipped with high-quality capacitors with excellent service life, our power supplies guarantee very long and reliable operation. The circuit design of the HSEUiREG series enables the handling of complex loads. The internal protection circuits protect the power supply and the connected system even in exceptional situations. The HSEUiREG series is protected against high transients by powerful, highly energy-efficient filters. All inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated. The design specifications require the highest standards of safety and interference suppression. The device is designed according to EN61010-1, EN61010-2-201, EN62368-1, EN60950-1, and EMC compatibility according to EN55032. The special heat dissipation design allows for easy cooling of the base plate using an optional wall mounting plate.
