Using the extension tube, KONTAKT 701 as a spray can be dosed accurately. The
aerosol can be used in an up-side-down position (360° valve), so hard to reach
parts can also be treated. Shake can before use. KONTAKT 701 when used as a protective coating against corrosion, should be applied in relative thick layers. Screw and clamp contacts should be given a coating of approx. 1 mm. As a lubricant although, only a thin film is required. Many materials, including synthetics, tolerate KONTAKT 701 quite well. For series production runs however, a compatibility test should always be carried out. With most elastomers a slight swelling is not critical, provided precise dimentional stability is not required. KONTAKT 701 is unsuitable for example as a lubricant for polystyrene, polycarbonate and EPDM rubbers.Using the extension tube, KONTAKT 701 as a spray can be dosed accurately.
