  • Pressure equalisation elements increase the reliability and extend the service life of appliances, as they prevent harmful particles and liquids from entering the appliance. Enable constant pressure equalisation in the event of altitude and temperature fluctuations. Pressure equalisation elements are used for pressure equalisation in micro-environments and provide protection against particles, water, oils and other liquids. They are durable, threaded and can be easily installed in existing devices. They are suitable for various applications such as protective housings, lighting housings and other devices and housings that need to be protected with pressure equalisation elements. Pressure equalisation elements are made of automotive-grade plastic. This is resistant to chemicals and solvents and can withstand high temperatures. The pressure equalisation element contains a puncture-resistant and moisture-protected filter medium. The pressure equalisation element consists of a two-part housing that securely encloses the filter medium. Air, which creates a vacuum in the housing when it cools down, can suck moisture into the housing through the seal, so that IP protection is no longer guaranteed. The DAE can be used to equalise these pressure fluctuations caused by temperature differences. When installed, protection classes IP 66, IP 68 (0.2 bar, 60 min) and IP 69 can be achieved.
