  • Description Car charger for maintenance-free lead-acid batteries (car batteries) with a 3.5-meter cable The compact and very lightweight ALCS 2-12/0.4 charger is ideal for lead-acid batteries in cars, boats, motorcycles, scooters, ride-on garden tools, or children’s vehicles. An extra-long 3.5-meter cable is particularly convenient and allows for charging without an extension cord. The ALCS 2-12 is, of course, easy to use and intuitive. Depending on the battery, the voltage can be adjusted using the rotary switch on the charger. The terminal clamps allow for quick connection to the lead-acid batteries, after which the charging process starts automatically. For 2 V, 6 V, or 12 V lead-acid batteries with a capacity of 1.2 Ah to 40 Ah It can charge lead-gel, lead-mat, and lead-acid batteries with voltages of 2 V, 6 V, and 12 V. Charging follows the IU characteristic curve with a charging current of 400 mA, which ensures that automotive starter batteries are charged very gently. An LED indicates both the charging process and when charging is complete for visual monitoring. Prevents Deep Discharge of the Battery and Ensures Gentle Winter Storage In addition to regular charging, the ALCS 2-12 is ideally suited for trickle charging. The battery can remain connected to the charger throughout the winter. This prevents deep discharge. Batteries from motorcycles, motorboats, lawn mowers, etc., will thus make it through the winter in good condition and be ready for use at any time when needed. The same applies, of course, to a top-off charge as soon as the battery starts to lose power or has not been used for an extended period.
